Two Chair Counseling

This brief involved redesigning a logo for a company which offers counseling for woman with busy careers. Below is the logo applied to a set of stationary. 

Below is the annual report I designed for Merlin Entertainment Group. The company are the second to Disney in being the biggest entertainment group, owning the likes of Alton Towers, Legoland, Thorpe Park etc. I designed the report as if it were a theme park ticket, I wanted to take a light hearted approach to this brief.

As part of my final major projects I decided to design my dissertation. My chosen subject matter was the changing roles of colour, branding and the associated discourse of the alcoholic beverage industry in the areas of graphic design, visual Identity and communication. I felt this was a chance to work on an editorial brief which involved dealing with a vast amount of text.

Bodyshop Posters

Its been a busy 2 months, finishing my degree, moving home, looking for jobs etc, I thought it was about time to update my blog with what I had been doing during the final last weeks of University. These are the final posters for the Bodyshop brief I had been working on. I wanted to use earthy colours throughout my designs, I felt this appropriate for this brief.

Bodyshop

I have been working on a brief for the Bodyshop. The brief is to reinstate the Bodyshop's position as the original pioneer of ethical beauty. I decided this was a chance to do a brief completely by hand. I miss being off screen and being able to draw something start to finish. Anyway here are a few of the drawings I have completed so far. Each poster reflects a value. I felt using mainly typography was the best approach for this. I have not yet decided on a colour scheme. That is what I will be spending time on tonight. 

Exhibition Poster

This brief is a poster which I created for the Faculty of Arts Exhibition 2010. It's not the best thing iv'e done but bearing in mind I done it in like an hour. Hopefully ill get time to go back to it at the end and spend alot more time with it.
